Agnes Akello

Agnes Akello is an experienced professional in the advisory and public sector domains, currently serving as a Manager in Advisory - Public Sector at Grant Thornton (Uganda) since April 2024. Prior to this role, Agnes held the position of Advisory Manager at Ortus Africa Capital from January 2020 to April 2024, and also worked as an Investment Associate. Agnes began her career at Deloitte Uganda as a Business Analyst from August 2016 to December 2019 and previously served as a Project Liaison Officer and Research Assistant at the National Housing and Construction Company Limited. Academically, Agnes is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Accounting and Finance at Cavendish University Uganda, following a Bachelor of Science in Land Economics from Makerere University. Agnes has also successfully passed Level 1 of the CFA program.
