Rikin Shah

Rikin Shah has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Rikin is currently working as the Director of Tax at Grant Thornton (Uganda) since December 2023. Prior to this, they held positions as a Senior Manager of Tax and Tax Manager at the same company.

In 2017, Shah co-founded AES Signatum LLC, where they served as the CFO and played a crucial role in the development of a revolutionary concept called smART OF GIVING (AOG). AOG is a blockchain-based smart contract platform that generates funds for charities without monetary donations. It also provides mobile gaming entertainment and transparency to contributors.

From 2015 to 2019, Shah worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Fine Spinners Uganda Limited. Rikin then served as the Chief Financial Officer at Appliance World Limited in 2013 and worked as the Financial Controller at Arete Services Private Limited and Shree Balaji Group in 2012.

Earlier in their career, Shah worked as the Financial Controller at Speke Resort & Conference Centre from 2010 to 2012 and as a Senior Credit Manager at Crane Bank Limited for a brief period in 2010. Rikin started their professional journey as an Analyst at CitiCorp Finance (India) Ltd in 2007 and later worked as a Business Analyst at Tata Consultancy Services Limited from 2006 to 2007.

Rikin Shah completed their education in three stages. From 2001 to 2004, they attended K.S. School of Business Management, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. Concurrently, between 2001 and 2006, they also studied at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, achieving a degree in Chartered Accountancy with a focus on Commerce and Finance. Finally, from 2004 to 2006, Rikin attended Gujarat University, where they received a Master's in Business Administration, specialized in Finance and Business Management.
