Akshay Shah

Akshay Shah, CISSP, currently serves as a Cyber Defence Manager at Grant Thornton UK LLP since August 2024. Prior to this role, Akshay held the position of Senior Manager Cyber Security at Protean eGov Technologies from May 2023 to August 2024, and worked as a Senior Consultant at T-Systems ICT India Pvt. Ltd. from December 2021 to May 2023. Akshay's experience also includes serving as a Senior Security Specialist at Barclays from November 2019 to December 2021, a Network Security Analyst at IBM from October 2018 to October 2019, and as a Customer Support Engineer at Wipro Limited from June 2014 to October 2018. Akshay earned a Bachelor of Technology in System Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, between 2014 and 2018, and a Diploma in Computer Engineering from the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education from 2011 to 2014, following schooling at St. Joseph's Convent Senior Secondary School, Jalgaon (CBSE), where an SSC was completed from 2006 to 2011.
