Laura Weaver (Koch)

Laura (Koch) Weaver has extensive experience in education, currently serving as the 2nd and 3rd grade enrichment teacher at Granville Exempted Village School District since August 2019. Prior to this role, Laura taught 5th grade enriched math and science, implementing innovative teaching methods such as the flipped classroom model and project-based learning from August 2013 to June 2019. Additionally, experience includes a position as a 5th grade math teacher at Reynoldsburg City Schools and teaching 9th grade science at Groveport Madison City Schools. Early professional contributions also involved serving as a test administrator at Pearson Professional Centers. Laura is pursuing a Doctorate in Educational/Instructional Technology from Liberty University, holding multiple degrees and licensures in education, including expertise in gifted education and educational leadership.
