Kristi Bowers has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 1990, they worked as a Market Intelligence Officer at Apple Computer Europe. From 1992 to 1993, they served as the Manager of European Sales and later as an Inside Sales Representative at Global Village Communication. In 1998, they became a Director at the Markkula Foundation, and in 2002, they joined the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics as an Advisory Board Member. Starting in 2009, they held the position of Director at Kings Mountain Vineyards, a vineyard that specializes in producing Pinot Noir. In 2012, they became a Trustee and Secretary at Santa Clara University, serving on committees related to investments, academic affairs, and facilities planning. In 2019, they became a Board Member at the San Francisco 49ers and started their own company called Grape.ag, where they serve as the CEO and Co-founder.

Kristi Bowers holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing from Santa Clara University. Kristi also pursued further education at the Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
