Grzegorz Chmaj

Grzegorz Chmaj began their work experience in 2018 as an Associate Intern at Sabre Corporation, where they served as a DevOps Engineer. Grzegorz'sresponsibilities included writing and expanding features for the Sabre Next Generation Platform, particularly in areas such as CI/CD, monitoring, and messaging. During this time, they also implemented monitoring features using software like Prometheus and Grafana.

In 2019, Grzegorz became an Associate Software Engineer at Sabre Corporation, transitioning into a Full Stack Developer role. Grzegorz contributed to the development of applications for the Rail Industry, focusing on enabling a complete booking flow for train connections. Grzegorz worked collaboratively within a cross-functional team.

Continuing at Sabre Corporation, in 2021, Grzegorz advanced to the position of Contributor Software Engineer. In this role, they continued their contributions to software development, focusing on their expertise in software engineering.

In 2021, Grzegorz joined Grape Up as a Senior Software Engineer. Grzegorz specialized in building cloud-native software in AWS for the automotive industry. Grzegorz'sresponsibilities encompassed developing a front-end application using React and TypeScript with MUI, creating microservices in Java and SpringBoot, and implementing event-driven solutions in Python using AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, and SQS.

In 2022, Grzegorz assumed the position of Technical Leader at Grape Up. As the leader of a team of experienced professionals, they collaborate closely with a Product Manager, UX Designers, and Business stakeholders to ensure the delivery of the highest customer value.

Grzegorz Chmaj completed their Bachelor's degree in Automation and Robotics (Inżynier (Inż.)) from Politechnika Krakowska im. Tadeusza Kościuszki in 2020. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, such as Learning Kubernetes, Docker for Java Developers, Learning Docker, Learning Jenkins, TypeScript Essential Training, JavaScript Essential Training, Learning ECMAScript 6, and Learning React.js (2018). These certifications were obtained between 2019 and 2020.
