Catarina Castro

Catarina Castro has a diverse work experience with various companies. Catarina started their career at Caetano Aeronautic in 2013 as a Process Engineer. In 2014, they joined IBM as a Backend Engineer and worked there until 2018. At IBM, they gained experience in backend engineering. In 2018, they joined Capco as a Backend Engineer and was later promoted to Senior Backend Engineer and then to Principal Backend Engineer. Their time at Capco lasted until 2021. Currently, Catarina is the Chief Technology Officer at GrapeData, a position they have held since 2023. Additionally, they also worked as a Lead Backend Engineer at GrapeData from 2021 to 2023. Catarina has a strong background in technology and backend engineering, having held various roles in these areas throughout their career.

Catarina Castro pursued their education in a chronological manner. Catarina completed their high school education at Escola Secundária de Inês de Castro from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a High School Diploma with a specialization in Sciences and Technologies.

Following their high school education, Catarina enrolled in Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto from 2008 to 2013. During this period, they pursued an Integrated Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management.

In 2012, Catarina also participated in the Erasmus Exchange Program at Sapienza Università di Roma for a year. Although the field of study during this exchange program is not provided, it may be presumed to align with their Industrial Engineering and Management degree.

Additionally, Catarina Castro obtained a certification as an Associate Cloud Engineer from Google Cloud in March 2019.
