Pawel Pieczul

Pawel Pieczul has extensive work experience in the engineering and software development field. Pawel currently holds the position of VP AI Engineering at Graphcore since October 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Engineering at Graphcore from September 2021 to October 2022.

Before joining Graphcore, Pawel worked at Intel Corporation for over 20 years. Pawel held various roles, including Engineering Manager from September 2018 to August 2021, Engineering Manager from January 2018 to September 2018, Engineering Manager from January 2016 to December 2017, Engineering Manager from September 2014 to January 2016, Engineering Manager from June 2011 to September 2014, Software Manager from June 2009 to June 2011, Software Manager from June 2006 to June 2009, and Design Lead from 2003 to May 2005.

Pawel also worked as a Software Engineer at Intel Corporation from January 2000 to June 2003, where they were involved in the development of new network devices operating systems and the design and development of signaling protocols stack of media gateway.

Prior to Intel Corporation, Pawel gained experience as a Software Engineer at Mikrotel from June 1999 to June 2000 and at The Factory from June 1992 to December 1993.

Pawel Pieczul completed their education from 1991 to 1995 at Liceum, where they did not earn a degree or specialize in any field. Pawel then attended Gdańsk University of Technology from 1995 to 2000, graduating with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Software Engineering.
