Senior Vice President, Global Innovation And New Business Development at Graphic Packaging Holding

Ricardo De Genova has extensive work experience in various leadership positions in the chemicals and packaging industry. Ricardo started their career at The Dow Chemical Company, where they successfully built and expanded a global business in polyurethanes. Ricardo then joined Cargill Incorporated, where they led the development of renewable-based chemistries and technologies for a polyol start-up business. After that, De Genova moved to Ashland Specialty Ingredients, where they headed global R&D and innovation for industrial specialties, overseeing the development and commercialization of innovative technologies across multiple markets. Ricardo later joined Solenis as Vice President, leading strategic marketing, R&D innovation, and global strategic marketing for the pulp and paper business. Most recently, De Genova joined Graphic Packaging International, LLC as Senior Vice President of Global Innovation and New Business Development.

Ricardo De Genova has a diverse education history. Ricardo attended the Centro Universitário do Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia from 1980 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. Later, in 2001, they furthered their business skills by enrolling in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship program at IMD. In 2002, Ricardo took part in the Executive Program at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, which focused on enhancing their knowledge in the field of business.
