Joseph Murphy, CPA

Joseph Murphy, CPA has a diverse work experience in the field of finance and accounting. Joseph started their career with EY in 2015 as a Staff Accountant, and later progressed to the role of Senior Accountant. In 2019, they joined CFFI Ventures Inc. as a Senior Financial Accountant, and eventually became the Manager of Accounting. Currently, Joseph is working at Graphite Innovation & Technologies as the Financial Controller, and recently transitioned to the role of Director of Finance.

Joseph Murphy, CPA has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.) degree in Accounting from the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary's University. Before that, they pursued the International Baccalaureate program at Charles P. Allen High School, earning a high school/secondary diploma. Furthermore, Joseph obtained their designation as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) from CPA Canada. In addition to their educational achievements, they have also obtained a Level 1 certification in the Innovation Governance Program from the Council of Canadian Innovators | Conseil Canadien des Innovateurs in June 2022.
