Maiko Arras

Maiko Arras has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. They started their career in 2010 as the Founder & CEO of Paych, a mobile payment app. During their time at Paych, they focused on business development, product management, sales, fundraising, and team leadership. They achieved strategic partnerships with leading mobile operators in the Nordics, such as Tele2.

In 2014, Maiko joined Gunvor Services as a Business Development Associate and Shipping Operations personnel. They were responsible for international slop removal service business development, sales to ship owners and operators, and voyage charter shipping operations.

In 2015, Maiko co-founded hoopy*, where they served as the CEO. Hoopy* aimed to guide kids towards moderate and meaningful technology use. Maiko was involved in various aspects of the business, including business development, product management, fundraising, and team leadership. They successfully partnered with leading mobile operator Elisa and received funding from VC fund Superangel.

Maiko's next venture was with Techstars in 2019, where they worked as part of the Operations team at Eastern Pacific Accelerator powered by Techstars. This accelerator program focused on MaritimeTech startups and was launched in Singapore in collaboration with Eastern Pacific Shipping. Maiko contributed to the success of the program until March 2022.

From 2020 to 2022, Maiko worked as a Business Development Manager at Seaber.io, a digital platform targeting bulk shipping. Their responsibilities included validating customer requirements and identifying new business opportunities worldwide.

In 2018, Maiko served as an Advisor at DELUXETARGETS, a boutique travel agency specializing in personalized high-end travel planning. They advised on the overall digital strategy and developed a platform for wellness travel.

Currently, Maiko holds the role of Business Development Manager at Graphite Innovation & Technologies, starting in April 2022. Further details about this role are not provided.
