Marciel Gaier , Ph.D.

Marciel Gaier, Ph.D., has a diverse work experience. Starting in 2013, they worked as an intern at SNOLAB. In 2015, Marciel worked as an Engineer at Whirlpool Latin America until 2015. In 2011, they worked as a Scientific Researcher at Universidade Federal de Pelotas until 2015. In 2016, Marciel joined Dalhousie University as a PhD student, where they also worked as a Teacher Assistant and Proctor. They founded Graphite Innovation & Technologies (GIT) Inc. in 2016 and served as the Chief Technology Officer.

Marciel Gaier, Ph.D., received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dalhousie University in the years 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2015, Marciel pursued a degree in Materials Science with a focus on Engenharia de Materiais at Universidade Federal de Pelotas. Additionally, Marciel studied abroad at Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne from 2012 to 2014 as part of an exchange program in Engineering.
