Shawn Dastmalchi

Shawn Dastmalchi is an experienced healthcare executive and advisor currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Gratia Health since February 2024, where the focus is on utilizing behavioral science to attract and retain healthcare staff. Prior to this role, Dastmalchi was CEO and Co-founder of Ark.one Health, Inc., which developed predictive analytics for value-based care. As an advisor and investor for Data Expanse Ventures, Dastmalchi supports startups that enhance healthcare processes through data science. Previous roles include Entrepreneur In Residence at Sutter Health, board member at Apixio, and Managing Director at Carl Zeiss. Dastmalchi holds a Ph.D. in Vision Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS in Genetics from the University of California, Davis.
