Alexandra Pastollnigg has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Alexandra started their career in 2002 as an intern in corporate banking at HVB. Alexandra then interned in corporate finance at McKinsey & Company and Deutsche Bank. In 2004, they became an analyst in the Financial Institutions Group at Deutsche Bank. From 2007 to 2013, they held roles at Deutsche Bank as Vice President of Group Strategy & Planning and Director of Business Development in Private & Business Clients International. Alexandra also worked at MilleniumAssociates AG as the Director of Mergers & Acquisitions from 2013 to 2016. Alexandra joined elea, a philanthropic impact investor, in 2021 as an Impact Value Creation Advisor. From 2022 to 2022, they served as the Head of Finance and Corporate Development at Nanoleq, a Swiss startup focusing on smart textiles. In 2017, they founded Fair Voyage, a B Corp certified travel agency providing sustainable travel experiences. Currently, they work at Graubündner Kantonalbank as a Responsible Investment Specialist, contributing to the bank's sustainable investment efforts.

Alexandra Pastollnigg completed their education in a chronological manner. Alexandra first attended the Inholland University of Applied Sciences from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Management. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Finance from The University of Hong Kong, specializing in Financial Engineering and Risk Management, completing it between 2006 and 2007. Additionally, they obtained a Master's degree in International Management from IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences from 2000 to 2004.

In terms of additional certifications, Alexandra obtained a Certificate of Chinese Proficiency from The State Commission of the Chinese Proficiency Test in June 2007. Alexandra subsequently obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute in December 2009. Alexandra later pursued further certifications, including a Certificate in Social Sector Leadership from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in March 2016. Additionally, they obtained the NED Certificate (Non-Executive Directors) from the Non-Executive Directors' Association in February 2021. Most recently, they acquired the CFA UK Certificate in Climate and Investing from CFA UK in May 2023, as well as the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute in March 2023.
