Bulent Ugurlu

Bulent Ugurlu has had extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Bulent started their career at Info Holding as a Solution Architect before joining UnitedHealth Group, where they held various roles such as Application Architect and Director of IT Architecture. At UnitedHealthcare Medicare & Retirement, Bulent served as Senior Director of Business Architecture, focusing on Medicare member and product development strategies. Bulent then moved to Optum, where they held positions as Senior Director of Software Engineering and Vice President of Software Engineering, leading engineering teams and transforming technology infrastructure. Most recently, Bulent worked at Pager as the Vice President of Engineering, responsible for scaling and modernizing engineering teams. Bulent is currently the VP of Engineering at Gravie.

Bulent Ugurlu completed an AI for Executives Education Program at Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business in 2020. Before that, they obtained a Master's degree in Software Engineering from the University of St. Thomas between 2001 and 2003. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's Program in Particle Physics and Management of Information Systems at Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University from 1996 to 1999. Bulent also holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the same university, which they earned between 1991 and 1996. Additionally, they acquired an Associate Degree in Computer Programming from Uludag University from 1988 to 1990.
