Eric Moore has over 25 years of professional experience in the IT industry. Eric began their career in 1993 as an Aviation Electronics Test Station and Component Journeyman in the United States Air Force, where they held a Secret Security Clearance to handle classified documents and electronics equipment. In 1997, they moved to the Public Broadcasting Service (Houston PBS) as a Business Support. Eric then joined JPMorgan Chase & Co. in 1998 as a Technical Analyst, providing primary and on-call support for the Telephone Distribution Channel's specialized applications for contact center environments. In 2004, they became the Technical Services Lead at Risk Placement Services, Inc. (formerly Leicht General Agency). In this role, they were the sole Technical Solutions resource for all technology solutions for the company. In 2008, they joined Myron Steves as an Application Specialist, and in 2014 they joined Alert Logic as a Sales Engineer/Technical Sales. In 2017, they moved to Delta General Agency Corp. as a Business Application Specialist, and in 2021 they joined Graylog, Inc. as Manager of Customer Success.

Eric Moore obtained their high school diploma from Elsik High School in 1990, after completing four years of study in music. In 1993, they attended the United States Airforce Technical Training. In 1999, they obtained a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification for Windows NT. Eric then attended the University of Houston-Downtown, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Information Systems in 2006. In 2015, they obtained a GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) certification from GIAC. In 2016, they obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services.
