Damien Koh

Robotics Software Engineering Intern at GrayMatter Robotics

Damien Koh is an undergraduate student at Northwestern University, pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering. Currently serving as a Robotics Research Assistant under Professor Matt Elwin, Damien has developed visualization programs for Omnid robots and contributed to hardware development through PCB design. As Vice President of Programming for Kappa Theta Pi, Northwestern's inaugural pre-professional technology fraternity, Damien plays a key role in organizing events. Previous experiences include working as a Robotics Engineer in the Northwestern University Robotics Club, developing a cartesian sports goalie robot, and interning at Weston Robot, where Damien focused on software for a Trash-Picking Robot. Early professional engagements include hardware engineering at InfernoGuard LLC, operations at IDE(A)S Lab, and military intelligence with the Singapore Armed Forces. Damien's diverse educational background includes training at prestigious institutions such as St. Joseph’s Institution International and Dulwich College in Beijing and Shanghai.
