Aron Tendler

Aron Tendler is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in psychiatry and mental health. Currently serving as Chief Medical Officer at GrayMatters Health since August 2023, Aron has held the position of Medical Director and Psychiatrist at New Directions for Young Adults since 2007, overseeing a transitional independent living program for young adults with various mental health disorders. As cofounder and Director of Advanced Mental Health Care Inc. since July 2006, Aron has contributed to the growth of a private psychiatric practice that serves over 4,000 patients across three locations. Previously, Aron provided executive medical leadership as Chief Medical Officer at BrainsWay and gained experience in emergency psychiatry at Ruth Cooper Community Mental Health Center. Education includes a Psychiatry Residency at the University of Chicago, a Sleep Medicine Certification from Rush Sleep Disorders Center, and an MD from SUNY Downstate Medical Center, complemented by a BA in Biology from Yeshiva University.
