Yaki Stern

Yaki Stern is a skilled data engineer and neuroscientist with extensive experience in algorithm development and computational neuroscience. Currently serving as a data engineer at Columbia University in the City of New York since July 2019, Yaki also holds the position of senior algorithm engineer at GrayMatters Health since September 2020. Previously, Yaki led the algorithm team at elminda for nearly a decade (June 2010 - June 2019) and worked as an algorithm advisor at Matrix from March 2008 to July 2010. Yaki's early career included a research assistant role at the Psychobiology lab between 2001 and 2003. Academically, Yaki obtained a PhD in computational neuroscience from Bar-Ilan University (2004 - 2009) and a B.Sc. in multidisciplinary studies including computer science, biology, and psychology from the same institution (1999 - 2002).
