Vinod Uppa

Vinod Uppa currently serves as a Senior AWS Data Engineer at Great American Insurance Group, where responsibilities include developing Spark applications and implementing Apache Spark data processing projects. Previously, Vinod held the position of Data Lake Architect at T-Mobile, leading the design of data flows for consolidating legacy data warehouses into an AWS Data Lake and developing the ETL strategy for analytics. As a Data Engineer at State Farm, Vinod focused on creating Spark applications for data cleansing and transformation, while earlier experience as a Java Developer at EHS Technologies involved translating business requirements into design specifications and developing applications in Java. Additionally, as a Hadoop Developer at DST Systems, Vinod collaborated closely with subject matter experts for functional analysis and document design. Vinod holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Siddartha College of Education.
