JL Verboomen has extensive experience in data analytics and management. They started their career as the Director of Data Science and Customer Insight at OLG, where they led a team of 12 data professionals. In this role, they were responsible for data analysis, database management, retailer optimization, and Sales & Marketing reporting.

After their time at OLG, Verboomen joined BIMM as the Director of CRM and Analytics. Here, they created and developed an analytical practice within the agency, implementing advanced analytical approaches such as predictive analytics, reporting, and customer segmentation.

Verboomen then moved on to Rogers Communications as the Director of Data Science & Analytics, overseeing a team of over 25 data professionals. Their responsibilities included managing all data management and analysis of customer data for marketing and sales activities.

At Xe.com, Verboomen took on roles as the Director of Data Science & Web Analytics and later as the Vice President of Data Science, Infrastructure & Governance. In these positions, they led large teams and developed innovative data-driven strategies, impacting the overall portfolio of Euronet companies.

Most recently, Verboomen joined Great Canadian Entertainment as the Vice President of Data & Analytics. They are responsible for modernizing data architecture and tools, amalgamating data from various locations into a single repository, and managing projects and partnerships.

JL Verboomen holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Concordia University. They also have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same university. JL Verboomen has additionally obtained certifications in Amazon Web Services Big Data Specialty, Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner, and Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect.
