Rajiv V. Datar

Rajiv Datar is an accomplished biotechnology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across multiple organizations. As Co-Founder and CEO of Propelle Therapeutics since August 2024, Rajiv Datar is focused on developing innovative RNA 2.0 Medicines. Previously, as President and CEO of ChromaTan, Inc. from November 2022 to June 2024, Rajiv Datar led company transformation for commercial success and secured its recognition as a JLABS BLUE KNIGHT Company. Rajiv Datar co-founded and served as CEO of DNX Biopharmaceuticals, where a notable asset was acquired by J&J in 2020. A track record of building and scaling biotechnology operations is evident from earlier roles at Viropro, Inc. and Shreya Biotech, among others. Rajiv Datar holds advanced degrees in Biochemical Engineering and Bioprocess Technology from prestigious institutions, including MIT and The Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm.
