Jon Reetz

SVP / Mortgage Operations at Great Midwest Bank

Jon Reetz has a diverse work experience in the banking and finance industry. Jon started their career as a Loan Officer at National Bank of Detroit, where they managed small to mid-sized commercial banking relationships. Jon then joined Bank One, Wisconsin as a Commercial Loan Officer before moving to GE Capital as a Sales Representative, specializing in capital equipment financing. At GE Capital, they successfully met their annual loan and lease production goals.

Reetz later joined Great Midwest Bank, where they held various roles and progressively advanced in their career. As VP and Loan Officer, they managed a Greenfield office and later moved to the Brookfield headquarters. Jon played a key role in producing annual mortgage loans, expanding marketing efforts, and overseeing the development of marketing strategies, social media, and website. Jon then took on the role of SVP and Mortgage Origination, managing the residential mortgage origination process and a team of loan officers. In their most recent role as SVP of Mortgage Operations, they are responsible for overseeing all aspects of mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing, as well as managing vendor relationships and loan origination automation.

Throughout their career, Reetz has demonstrated strong leadership skills, expertise in mortgage operations, and a track record of meeting goals and targets.

Jon Reetz completed their Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus in Finance & Marketing from the Wisconsin School of Business between 1986 and 1990. Following this, they pursued a Masters in Management with a concentration in Finance & Marketing at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 1995 to 1998.
