Curt Colson

Vice President for Regional Operations and Corporate Compliance at Great Plains Health Alliance

Curt Colson has been working in the healthcare industry since 1992. Starting as a Store Manager at Leslie's Poolmart, Inc., they then moved to Senior Center Administrator at Concentra Medical Centers in 1997. In 2004, they became CEO/Administrator at Satanta District Hospital & LTCU, followed by a Sr. Practice Administrator role at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2010. In 2011, they assumed the role of President/CEO at Clara Barton Medical Center, and in 2015 they became Vice President for Regional Operations and Corporate Compliance at Great Plains Health Alliance. Throughout their career, Curt has provided effective leadership, guidance and hands-on oversight of operations of multiple rural Critical Access Hospitals, implemented effective healthcare programs, developed strong collaborative relationships, and monitored organizational policy.

Curt Colson attended East Central University from 1985 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration - Mgmt. In 1988, they also attended Westfield State University, studying Small Business Administration/Management.
