Alejandro Calderon currently serves as the Carbon Management and Labor Engagement Manager at Great Plains Institute since July 2022. Prior experience includes the role of Internal Organizer at SEIU from March 2017 to December 2021, where Alejandro represented a significant number of union members, handled grievances, and facilitated labor management meetings. In 2016, Alejandro was the Nevada State Canvassing Director for For Our Future, focusing on mobilizing working families during the presidential campaign. Previous positions include Bilingual Customer Service Representative at General Dynamics Information Technology, Recycling Technician at KU Recycling, and Machine Operator at Koch & Co Inc. Alejandro holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International/Global Studies and Business from The University of Kansas, earned between 2012 and 2016.
