Shawna Portenier

Shawna Portenier, CPA, has extensive experience in accounting and financial management, currently serving as Plant Controller at Great Plains Manufacturing, Inc. since November 2019, after previously holding the role of Staff Accountant. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Associate at K·Coe Isom from August 2013 to November 2019 and as an Accounting Intern at Kennedy and Coe, LLC in the summer of 2013, where responsibilities included tax returns, audit work, and bookkeeping. Shawna also has a background in various assistant roles at companies like CARPET ONE FLOOR & HOME and Red Robin, dating back to 2006. Shawna earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Public Accounting from Fort Hays State University, completing studies in 2013, following enrollment at Maple Woods Community College.
