Emily Wallace has extensive experience in animal care and management, currently serving as the Director of Animal Care and Adoptions at Great Plains SPCA since August 2014. In this role, Emily has held various positions including Shelter Manager, Animal Care Manager, and Team Lead, with a focus on overseeing the well-being of all canines in the shelter and cross-training in multiple departments. Previously, Emily worked as a seasonal actor at Worlds of Fun, where responsibilities included training new employees and enhancing guest experiences. Additionally, Emily served as a server and staff trainer at The Fig Tree Cafe from May 2011 to 2015. Emily earned a Bachelor's degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Central Missouri between 2014 and 2017.
