Jerilyn Church has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Jerilyn started working as the Indigenous Law & Policy Center (ILPC) - Program Coordinator at Michigan State University, College of Law in 2004. Jerilyn provided organizational support and conference coordination for the Indigenous Law & Policy Program. In 2007, they became the Executive Director at American Indian Health & Family Services of Southeastern Michigan, where they managed and implemented various healthcare programs. In 2012, they joined the Great Plains Tribal Leader's Health Board as President/Chief Executive Officer and also served as CEO at the Great Plains Tribal Chairmen's Health Board.
Jerilyn Church earned a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree with a specialization in American Indian Studies from Michigan State University from 2003 to 2005. Jerilyn went on to complete a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in Human Services Management at the University of Michigan from 2005 to 2006.
