William Eccleshare

William Eccleshare has extensive experience in leadership and governance across various organizations. Currently serving as Chair Designate at GPE since February 2025, Chair at the Design Council and Team ITG since July 2022, and Senior Independent Director at Centaur Media Plc since July 2016, William has previously held notable positions including Senior Independent Director and Non-Executive Director at BRITVIC PLC until February 2025 and at Clear Channel Outdoor, where roles included Executive Vice Chairman and CEO. Additional contributions include board membership at Donmar Warehouse and a governance role at University College School. William's academic foundation is rooted in a Master’s degree in History from the University of Cambridge, obtained between 1975 and 1978.
