Charlie Wallin

Charlie Wallin is an experienced professional currently serving as a Watauga County Commissioner since November 2018 and as the 5th District Chair for the North Carolina Democratic Party since May 2015. Additionally, Charlie has held the position of Director of Retail Operations at Appalachian State University since 1999, overseeing various supervisory roles and responsibilities associated with The River St Cafe, Catering, Athletic Training Table, and the Living and Learning Center. Prior experience includes serving as General Manager at Pizza Hut from 1993 to 1999, where Charlie engaged in various management roles. Charlie Wallin earned a degree from Appalachian State University between 1990 and 1994.
