Mike Brasel

Michael Brasel is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the nuclear energy sector, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Nuclear Product Solutions at Blue Wave AI Labs since March 2024. Brasel has held significant leadership roles, including Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Perham Health and Board Member positions at Great River Energy and Lake Region Electric Cooperative. Previously, Brasel was a key figure at NuScale Power, overseeing various areas such as project management and supply chain development until March 2024. Early career experience includes managing operations at Dairyland Power Cooperative's La Crosse Boiling Water Reactor and engineering roles within the U.S. Navy. Michael Brasel holds a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and is currently pursuing an Executive Scholar Program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
