José Bou is a Senior Associate with the Great Schools Partnership. José formerly worked as: the Director of Family and Community Partnerships for the Holyoke Public Schools; as a full-time tenure-track professor of criminal justice at Holyoke Community College; a workforce development coordinator for MassHire, a program that serves "proven risk” youth in Holyoke; and a youth worker at Roca, Inc. in Springfield, MA, where he engaged in street work with “proven risk,” out-of-school, and court-involved participants. José holds a bachelor's degree in English and American literature and a master’s degree in criminal justice from Boston University. José lives in Holyoke, Massachusetts, with his amazing partner and two beautiful daughters.
