Charmayne Turner

Charmayne Turner has a strong background in educational and community-based organizations. Charmayne began their career in 2003 as the Executive Director of Southeast Youth Academy, where they oversaw the organization's operations. In 2006, they transitioned to Baltimore City Public Schools as the Coordinator for Community Schools, a role in which they collaborated with various stakeholders to support community engagement in education. From 2010 to 2011, Charmayne served as the Senior Director of Operations and Programs at the Center for Urban Families, where they played a key role in managing the organization's day-to-day operations. Since 2013, they have been with the Y of Central Maryland, serving as the Director of School Partnerships, leading initiatives to build strong partnerships between the organization and schools in the area.

Charmayne Turner obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Morgan State University from 1992 to 1996. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Management from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School from 2000 to 2003.
