Director of Coaching

Gabriela Stiteler is a Director of Coaching with Great Schools Partnership. With 15 years experience in education as a teacher and a school administrator in Boston, Washington, DC, and Minneapolis, she is passionate about learning and growth. She especially loves working with teachers and staff to ensure that all students have equitable educational opportunities. Her experience includes running before and after-school programming, acting as a reading interventionist, teaching social studies and language arts, serving in a variety of teacher-leader roles, coaching teachers and staff, and supporting teacher leadership opportunities through robust content-rich development. Most recently, Gabi worked with teachers to develop individual plans aligned to district priorities, aligned curricula and instructional practices by establishing protocols for robust, standards-aligned content development in professional learning groups, and worked with teacher leaders to build content and grade-level toolkits to increase student engagement through looking at student work and data analysis. Gabi earned a BA in literature from Oberlin College and a M.Ed in human development and quantitative methodology from the University of Maryland. She loves reading, learning, and adventures with her family.
