Victor Capellan is an experienced education leader committed to improving learning outcomes for children through strategic and innovative approaches. As Senior Advisor to the Rhode Island Education Commissioner, he oversaw key initiatives including the creation of the Office of Equity and Diversity. Formerly the Superintendent of Schools in Central Falls, he focused on equity and established the city's first dual-language school. Victor has also served as Assistant Superintendent in Fall River and Principal of EBC High School in Brooklyn. Beyond education, Victor has advised political figures and served on numerous community boards, contributing significantly to social justice and advocacy in Rhode Island. He resides in Providence with his wife and son.
