Gene has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The University of Alabama and has held titles such as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer in the finance industry. Currently, Gene serves as the Director of Mergers, Acquisitions and Investments at Great Southern Wood Preserving. Gene's responsibilities have included overseeing all financial aspects of the firms Gene has worked for, as well as strategic planning and operational compliance.
