Afif Muflih has been in the workforce since 2020. In 2020, they were a Research Intern at Resilience Development Initiative, where they supported ongoing research on the topic of social protection and topics related to policies in the financial sector and its relations to environmental resilience. In 2021, they were a Business Development Analyst and Management Trainee at Lookal Indonesia, where they signed LOIs with 4 curated F&B brands with a combined TTM revenue of USD $800,000, and led the on-boarding process of kitchen partners. Currently, Afif is a HRIS Customer Success & Insight at GreatDay HR - HR Software, and a Content and News Writer at Origin Hope.

Afif Muflih obtained a Bachelor of Political Science in International Relations from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) between 2016 and 2020. In 2020, they obtained certifications in Negotiation Skill: Seni Mendapatkan yang Kamu Inginkan from Skill Academy by Ruangguru, Problem Solving: Cara Memecahkan Masalah ala Konsultan from Skill Academy, and Digital Skills: Digital Marketing from Accenture. In June of 2020, they obtained a certification in Scientific Writing and Publishing: Writing a Research Paper from Nature Research (Publishing). In 2021, they obtained a certification in Advanced Business Development: Communication and Negotiation from LinkedIn. In September of 2020 and 2022, they obtained EF SET Scores of 79/100 (C2 Proficient) and 82/100 (C2 Proficient) respectively from EF Standard English Test (EF SET).
