Cathy Hamel

Cathy Hamel has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Cathy served as the President of Gilchrist Services at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) from 2008 onwards. Their responsibilities included overseeing outpatient services and programs for a 225 bed community hospital, which included home health, skilled nursing, rehab, home-based geriatric services, palliative care, and hospice.

Prior to their role at GBMC, Cathy worked at Neighboracre from 2004 to 2008, where they held the position of Vice President of Infusion Services. In this role, they were responsible for managing infusion services within the company.

Before joining Neighboracre, Cathy worked at Severn Healthcare Provider Services from 1996 to 2004 as the Vice President.

Cathy Hamel has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in the Management of Aging Services from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Cathy also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology, Sociology, and Criminal Justice from Temple University, completed between 1972 and 1976.
