Annery Miranda is an experienced immigration attorney currently working at Greater Boston Legal Services since October 2023. Previously, Annery served as a staff attorney at the PAIR Project and held various roles at Greater Boston Legal Services, including immigration unit student attorney. Annery's legal experience also includes work as a family defense practice student attorney at The Bronx Defenders and law clerk at Demissie & Church, where responsibilities included client interaction and legal writing. As a senior editor for the Northeastern University Law Review and in roles as a teaching assistant and research assistant at Northeastern University School of Law, Annery contributed significantly to academic and practical legal education. Annery holds a Master of Social Work from Boston College and a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law, along with a Bachelor's degree in International Affairs and Sociology from Gordon College and a yoga certification from Boston Yoga School.

Greater Boston Legal Services (GBLS) plays an indispensable role in the lives of poor people in the Boston area by providing free, high-quality civil (noncriminal) legal assistance to low-income individuals and families. GBLS helps its clients navigate the complex maze of laws and regulations, enabling them to obtain the basic necessities of life. GBLS annually provides assistance to over 10,000 people who live at or below 125% of the federal poverty standard ($30,750 for a family of 4).
