Heather Ross

Heather Ross is an experienced professional in grants management and environmental policy, currently serving as a Grants Officer at Greater Boston Legal Services since December 2016. In this role, Heather maintains and grows a portfolio of grants and contracts, conducts funding research, and designs project proposals. Prior experience includes working as an Environmental Protection Specialist at the Environmental Protection Agency, where Heather supported nonprofit organizations in advancing environmental justice, and as a Legislative Director for the Massachusetts House of Representatives, managing proposed legislation. GBLS helps its clients navigate the complex maze of laws and regulations, enabling them to obtain the basic necessities of life. GBLS annually provides assistance to over 10,000 people who live at or below 125% of the federal poverty standard ($30,750 for a family of 4).
