Rebecca Ward

Rebecca Ward is an experienced planning professional currently serving as Principal Planner for Strategic Sites at Greater Cambridge Shared Planning Service since June 2017. Prior to this role, Rebecca held various planning positions at South Cambridgeshire District Council from March 2012 to May 2017, including Senior Planning Officer and Planning Officer for Development Control. An internship as a Planning Assistant at Savills in May 2011 provided initial exposure to planning applications related to the Olympic park venues. Rebecca also gained valuable insights through work experience at Cambridge City Council and Andrew Firebrace Construction Consultant. Rebecca holds a Master's degree in Planning with Merit and a BA (Hons) in Town and Country Planning from the University of the West of England.
