Shammrie Brown is a seasoned professional in institutional engagement and fundraising, currently serving as Senior Manager of Institutional Engagement and Peer-to-Peer Fundraising at Greater Chicago Food Depository since November 2021. In this role, Shammrie focuses on enhancing institutional donor relationships and increasing corporate and foundation support through innovative campaigns. Previously, Shammrie held several positions at New Life Covenant Church Southeast, progressing from Community Liaison to Senior Director of Outreach and Community Development. Additional experience includes work at Good Servants Enterprises LLC as a Foundation and Grants Coordinator and at Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin. Shammrie holds a Master of Arts in Urban Leadership from Northern Seminary and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Aurora University.
