Kathleen Gilland

Kathleen Gilland serves as the Principal of Utica Elementary School within the Greater Clark County School District, a position held since August 2013. Under Kathleen's leadership, Utica Elementary School achieved the distinction of being a 2023 National Blue Ribbon School and has received the Indiana Four Star School Award multiple times. Prior to this role, Kathleen held school administrator positions at Clarksville Community Schools from July 2011 to August 2013 and at Seymour Community Schools from July 2004 to August 2011. Kathleen's educational qualifications include an EdS in District School Administration from Indiana State University, as well as multiple degrees in Education, including a BS, MEd in Secondary School Administration/Principalship, and an MEd in Elementary and Middle School Administration/Principalship, all obtained from Indiana University Southeast.
