Caroline Guscott has a strong background in strategic communications, starting with their current role as Managing Vice President at the Greater Cleveland Partnership since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the Cleveland Museum of Art, where they held various positions from 2006 to 2022. Caroline began as a Marketing Assistant, eventually progressing to roles such as Communications Associate, National Communications Manager, and Associate Director of Communications. In 2015, they became the Director of Communications & External Relations, where they focused on setting strategy, delivering ROI & ROO, providing clear brand messaging, enhancing revenue, building reputation, and client retention. Caroline achieved significant success in their role, contributing to a record attendance of over 865K visitors in FY 2019, a 45% increase over the previous fiscal year. Before their time at the museum, Caroline worked as a Lead Trainer at Select Restaurants, Inc., where they developed skills in leading teams, mentoring talent, and optimizing operations.

Caroline Guscott holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Public Administration from Cleveland State University, which they obtained in 2009. Prior to that, they attended Syracuse University, where they studied Art History. In addition to their academic qualifications, Caroline has also obtained additional certifications. In 2018, they completed a Digital Marketing & Social Media Analytics Certification from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Furthermore, they obtained a Communications Professional Certification from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University in 2014.
