Laura DeMarco has over 20 years of work experience in various roles. From 1999 to 2020, they worked for The Plain Dealer as a Reporter and Editor, where they wrote and reported on a wide range of topics related to arts and culture, business and development, and local history. In 2009, they began working as a Freelance writer, editor, and marketing consultant, specializing in diverse fields such as journalism, healthcare, and technical writing. From 2020 to 2022, Laura worked at Jones Day as a Writer/Editor. In 2017, they became a Book Author and Lecturer for Pavilion Books, publishing several critically acclaimed books and delivering lectures on Cleveland history and culture. Currently, Laura is the Senior Director of Content & Corporate Communications at the Greater Cleveland Partnership, a position they started in 2022.
Laura DeMarco attended John Carroll University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Their areas of study included English and Art History.
