Ed Kawecki

Ed Kawecki has extensive work experience in the training and management field. Ed began their career as a Technical Training Instructor at Ohio CAT, where they provided instruction on various technical topics and conducted soft-skill training for technicians and management personnel. Ed later transitioned into the role of Technical Training Manager, where they supervised instructors, managed the department's budget and goals, and collaborated with other departments to achieve company objectives. Ed also managed a scholarship/internship program and administered the Ohio Training Tax Credit. After their time at Ohio CAT, Ed worked as a Regional Service Manager at Nortrax Great Lakes Inc., and then as a Power & Way Rail Trainer at Greater Cleveland Rapid Transit Authority. Ed is currently the Manager of Training - Rail Operations and Rail Maintenance at Greater Cleveland RTA.

Ed Kawecki attended Cuyahoga Heights High School from 1979 to 1993. Ed did not obtain a degree or pursue a specific field of study during their time there. Following high school, from 1991 to 1993, Ed Kawecki attended the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center, where they earned a Certificate in Medium/Heavy Vehicle and Truck Technology/Technician.
