Lauren Gilley Mosley has worked in a variety of roles in the healthcare and business industries since 2010. In 2011, they began working as a Marketing Specialist at ThyssenKrupp Steel USA, where they published a Monthly Economic Outlook for customers and senior level management and analyzed economic, pricing, and competitor data for various reports used by senior level management. In 2010, they were a Corporate Strategy Teaching Assistant at Vanderbilt University, where they reviewed and analyzed results of a Capstone Business Simulation with a class of 40 students each week and advised teams on decision-making for each of the modules in the business simulation. In 2014, they worked as a Finance Intern at Children's Medical Center and a Health Management Intern at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Ochsner Health System, where they held the roles of Manager of Shared Services at the Benson Cancer Center and Administrative Fellow. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at DaVita Medical Group, where they held the roles of Manager and Senior Analyst of Operations Innovation. Since 2019, they have been the Director of the Center for Digital Health and Senior Manager and Manager of National Strategy & Operations at Optum. In 2022, they began working as the Senior Director of Operations at Greater Good Health.

Lauren Gilley Mosley obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University in 2011, and a Master of Health Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2016. Lauren also holds a LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
