Carolyn Parkhill Hamilton

Carolyn Parkhill Hamilton has extensive experience in marketing and communications. Carolyn worked as the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at the Greater Joliet Area YMCA from 2011, where they led strategic communication efforts, planned comprehensive marketing campaigns, and significantly increased operating revenue. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Marketing & Public Relations at Little Friends from 2007 to 2011, where they cultivated media relationships, developed marketing plans, and managed website content. Carolyn also worked as a Community Relations Specialist at the City of Naperville from 2002 to 2006, focusing on media relations and marketing city programs. Earlier in their career, they were the Media Relations Manager at Benedictine University from 2000 to 2002, responsible for media relations, website management, and publication editing. Carolyn began their career as the Communications Director for Central Indiana at the American Cancer Society in 1999.

Carolyn Parkhill Hamilton completed their high school education at Oak Lawn Community High School from 1991 to 1995, earning a High School Diploma. Following that, they attended Butler University from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Journalism.
