Missy Durkin

Missy Durkin has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Missy began their career as the Executive Director at Morris Downtown Development Partnership, Inc. from February 2002 to February 2008. Following that, they served as the Business Development Director at Grundy Economic Development Council from February 2008 to December 2013. Currently, Missy is employed at Greater Joliet Area YMCA, where they began as the Operations Director in January 2014 and later became the Executive Director in December 2014. Missy'smost recent role at the YMCA is as the Chief Operating Officer, which they assumed in July 2021.

Missy Durkin attended Carthage College from 1988 to 1992 and obtained a Bachelor's degree. Missy'sdegree was in a combination of fields including Business Administration, Marketing, and English.
