Joe Reardon

Joe Reardon is the President and CEO of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, a position held since March 2016, representing over 2,200 member businesses and advocating for the regional business community. Previous experience includes serving as a member of the Culture of Health National Advisory Group for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation from January 2018 to December 2022, and teaching Regionalism at Rockhurst University from September 2013 to September 2017. As President/CEO of the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority from March 2015 to February 2016, Joe Reardon advanced regional transit alignment efforts. Earlier roles include tenure as Mayor/CEO of the Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, KS, where significant partnerships and developments were achieved, and legal practice at McAnany Van Cleave & Phillips and Thomson Reuters Westlaw. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rockhurst University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas.
